Spiritual Education : HP

For this week, I revisited the Harry Potter novels and films. I had recently enough read the books for the first time over this past summer, and am a fan of the movies. They were quite enjoyable reads, I found myself never wanting to put the books down and I finished them all pretty quickly. There are many values that the Harry Potter series expresses in a multitude of ways within its massive storyline and attention to all the characters details. The main character, Harry, is constantly faced with challenges resulting in life or death situations, which is a bit drastic for him being a young teen throughout the entire series. His is also faced with unfair situations, where his elders take advantage of him, but he still always remains a humble polite person. The series is a good example of showing young adults that you can still navigate through life in any situation. The series represents courage with every moment Harry takes on danger, within tasks, and honestly just his everyday life when Voldemort is around.Trust within his friends and the elder wizards that help and support him, like Dumbeldore who always gave Harry a little extra help while looking over him. As well as loyalty even when things got difficult between the main trio. Harry Potter is loved by many people and has been very impactful on the many young minds who’ve read it.
